Body
-INTRO FPShooting, out-of-body experiences & adult themes co-developed by N. -GRAPHICS(Tech) Kinda PS2-like, with better rendering, but a bit last-gen. -GRAPHIC(Art) A sea of averageness, a bit of effort in the art Deco and the ghouly bits. Also a few fx used in interesting ways. -AMBIENCE Pretty much lame. -CONTROLS FPS fare, plus a special random action for every host on the L button?!?!?Mind
-CONCEPT EXECUTION We appreciate the effort N-Space, but not really. -LEVEL DESIGN Minimum common denominator for the most, enough of underground secret facilities thanks. -PUZZLE DESIGN The scaring and subsequent hosting routines are quite interesting but basically set-pieces. The animal bits are entertaining. -FIGHTING SYSTEM Lame FPShooting that doesn't even work right. Clearly an underdeveloped sorry work for N-Space.-MAGIC SYSTEM N/A -DEBUGGING Directional sound bugs, graphic glitches, slowdowns when smoke fx are up and another few things.Soul
-ORIGINALITY & INNOVATION Even though it shamelessly rips off Half Life and Metroid Prime, there are a few good ideas hidden in the haystack of FPS banality, but far from redeeming. -STORY Forgettable characters, predictable story. It won't wake your interest once. -ATMOSPHERE Corridors with pipes on the walls? Maybe a couple of areas and the spirit bits are not too bad. -ARTISTIC VALUE It's a bunch of good ideas that never get too far. -PURE GAMING FUN Our soul just slept all the time.Extra info
-MULTIPLAYER A few 'possesion' modes are fresh for a while but the whole shooting part is too flawed to make it work. -ONLINE N/A -HOURS TO COMPLETION 8-10 -PLAYER CUSTOMISATION N/A -EXTENDED & REPLAY VALUE N/AFinal Score
Like a nice dinner that's been on the table for 2 days.
